Gadkari to discuss national highway work progress in DK on Aug 27

Mangaluru/New Delhi: A meeting has been called by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, in Delhi on August 27, in order to evaluate the progress of the development work on the highways in the Dakshina Kannada district, said MP Nalin Kumar Kateel. The meeting is scheduled to be held at 6.30 pm.

Those who have been invited to attend the meeting are officials of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Navayug Udupi Tollway Pvt. Ltd. and the concessionaire widening the National Highway 66 between Talapady and Kundapur. At the meeting, steps to complete the pending highway work, Shiradi Ghat road work and projects to be taken up under Bharat Mala and Sagar Mala in the district will be discussed.
