Mangaluru: While most of the world’s eyes are on the calamities wreaking havoc in Kerala, those closer to home are doing all they can to garner support and funds for the Kodagu district.

The Mangalore Bikerni, in association with various other clubs and groups in Mangaluru, have organised a fundraiser event in Kadri Park on Sunday, August 19 at 3.45 PM. They are aiming to collect approximately Rs 1.5 Lakhs in cash by August 20.

The Bikernis are coordinating with Neethu Monnappa, who is working with the Bengaluru chapter of the Kodava Samaja, one of the organisations involved in the ongoing relief efforts. The members of the Kodava Samaja have been working tirelessly to arrange transportation to deliver supplies and funds to the affected areas.
