Mangalore : Rev Fr Denis DSa the administrator  of Fr Muller Medical College ,College of Nursing and College of Allied Health Sciences and School of Nursing has taken charge as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the newly formed Udupi Diocese, sources said.

Reports say that he would also take charge as the Member of college of consultors for Udupi Diocese and also as the Parish priest of St Antony church in kuntal nagar on July 1. Fr originally hails from Kallianpur and he is the son of Salvadore and Mary DSa.He joined the seminary in 1981 and was ordained as the priest in 1990.

Fr has been nominated by the government of karnataka as the member of the karnataka konkani Sahitya Akademi. He was honoured with Rajyosava award by the  state government during his tenure as the Director of Sandesha foundation and also for promoting art,culture and education in the institution.

He was also honoured with kalanidhi award by kerala state konkani catholic prathisthana in 1998.He has conducted more than 300 seminars on media and communication.
