Kasargod: Four RSS activists have been arrested on Sunday in connection with CPM member murder case in Payyannur.
Vaishak(21) from Kakkayampara, Sukesh(24), Prajith Lal(21) and Anoop(21) are the arrested. Four other suspects in the case are still at large.

It may be recalled that CPM activist Dhanraj was brutally killed at his residence on July 11, after a gang stormed into his house. Soon after Dhanraj was murdered, a BJP member C K Ramachandran was hacked to death. Accused in the case are yet to be nabbed.

It is learnt that the gang had attempted to murder Dhanraj earlier too. Though it is suspected that political rivalry might be the reason behind the murder, probing team are looking into other reasons too.

The arrested will be produced in court on July 18.
