Mangaluru: Four more persons from the Dakshina Kannada district tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, June 10. This brings the total number positive cases in the district to 222.

Of the four who tested positive for the disease, two come from Dubai recently and the other had returned from Mumbai.

They have been in quarantine ever since their return and their throat swabs were sent for testing. They came back positive today.

Meanwhile, 10 persons were discharged from the Covid Wenlock Hospital today, after making a full recovery from the disease. With this, the total number of discharged patients in the Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 117.

So far, six, people have succumbed to the disease and a total of 98 patients are being treated at the Wenlock Hospital.
