Mangalore: Four persons were injured after an ambulance crashed into a tractor here at Thokkottu on July 3.

The ambulance was en route to the hospital in Deralakatte carrying a patient from Kanhangad.

Abubakkar, the patient who was inside the ambulance and other two persons along with the amnbulance driver got injured in the collision.

Reports say that the accident occured when the ambulance driver could not see the tractor coming from oppsition side. It is also said that the tractor had no headlight.

Injured have been admitted in the nearby private hospital.

A case has been registered in the Ullal police station.
