Mangaluru: Forensic team from Bangaluru arrived in the city on wednesday, April 20 to collect samples of an explosion in car which occured near Kadri Jogi Math on Monday April 18.

The team will leave for Bengaluru for the study of the sample.

Kadri circle inspector MG Nayak and team were present.

It may be recalled that Maxwell Monteiro and his wife were approaching the car after a visit to Kadri Jogi Mutt, when the explosion was heard on unlocking the car.

It was suspected that someone had placed a detonator in the car.
