Mangaluru: On account of International women’s day, Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing along with AJIMS (OBG dept) and Mangalore Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society organized a free women’s health checkup camp at Dharma Jyoti Social Centre, Vamanjoor recently.

The camp was inaugurated by Rev. Sr. Daphney D’souza. Ms. Asha D’silva Asst. Lecturer unveiled the theme.

The chief guest Dr. Kavitha D’souza HOD, OBG Department AJIMS, spoke on the importance of frequent health checkup for women.

The Guest of honour Dr. Amritha Bhandary highlighted on the importance of women’s health in the family.

Dr. Theresa Lionilda Mendonsa, Vice Principal presided over the function.

Mr. T Rajendra R. programme coordinator welcomed the gathering.

Sandhya D’Almeida HOD, OBG (N) department proposed a vote of thanks.

Teena, Asst. Lecturer compered the programme. A total of 110 women availed the benefit of the camp.
