Mangaluru: A private hostel here at Valachil in Mangalore reported 30 of its inmates who recently fell sick as a result of food poisoning. The situation took place on Wednesday, on 7th February, where most of them showed similar symptoms, like vomiting.
As a result, a lot of them were hospitalized, a situation which came to the notice of the health department, which later came forward to inspect the hostel and assess what led to the condition of the students.
On a good note, most of the admitted students showed positive signs of recovery while some still continue to receive treatment at the hospital.
