Mangalore :Florence Nightingale Awards were conferred on three senior nurses at a function held at the District Wenlock Hospital in the city on Friday June 20 under the aegis of the Mangalore Division of the Karnataka State Nurses Association.

State Minister for Health and Family Welfare UT Khader presented the Awards to  Victoria Janet, Kamala Hugar and Visalakshi Jesuman on the occasion.

The Minister also interacted with  the patients of peritoneal dialysis on the occasion.

Dr Rajeshwari Devi, Superintendent of Wenlock Hospital,  Dr G Shakuntala, Superintendent of Lady Goschen Hospital, Bhavani, President of DK Association of Nurses, Dr HS Shivakumar, District Health and Family Welfare Officer and others were present.
