Mangaluru: While online shopping portals offer the convenience of shopping from home the many instances of stones being received instead of the ordered products seemingly makes a customer wary before placing his order online.In yet such instance reported from the city itself,Gaurav Kottari, a resident of Bantwal had on March 22 placed an order for a Trimmer asking for it to be delivered at his aunt’s residence in Kottara.

The parcel so received was duly collected by his aunt on March 25. Gaurav who had exams at that time came to collect the parcel on March 27. However on opening the parcel he was shocked to see the stones in the packet instead of the Trimmer.

Gaurav who has often in the past shopped through the portal has already reported the incident to the Flipkart customer care.
