Five IPS officers including M’luru Police Commissioner transferred

Mangaluru/Bengaluru: The state government on Friday transferred five IPS officers, including Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Vipul Kumar.

A 1999-batch IPS officer Vipul kumar, IGP and Mangaluru city police commissioner has been transferred with immediate effect and posted as IGP and Director, Karnataka Police Academy, Mysuru until further orders.

M Chandra Shekar, who was serving as the IGP and Commissioner of Police, Belagavi city, Belagavi, has been transferred as the new IGP, ACB, Bengaluru, until further orders.

Dr D C Rajappa, DIG, Railways, Bengaluru, has been transferred as the DIG and Commissioner of Police, Belagavi.

Bagalkot Superintendent of Police C Vamsi Krishna has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Eastern Range, Davangere. C B Ryshyanth, Superintendent of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, Bengaluru, will replace C Vamsi Krishna as Superintendent of Police, Bagalkot.
