Mangaluru: Hundreds of devotees witnessed the curtains close on the “Kodial Teru” festival with a vibrant “Okuli” (Holi) at Car street in the city on February 20. This was celebrated by the Gaud Saraswat Brahmin (GDB) community at Sri Ventataramana Temple.

The devotees applied colour powders on each other as a symbol of oneness and brotherhood. The entire car street area was painted with rainbow colours.

The young and the old gathered to celebrate this festival which is a commemoration of the divine union of Lord Venkataramana and Goddess Padmavathi.
