Mangaluru: Fishermen of Ullal found the body of a young woman floating on the river Netravati and brought it ashore at Hoige Bazaar here in the City.

As per reports, the mortal remains found are that of a woman aged 30 to 35 years yet to be identified, who is wearing trousers and a t-shirt. Further investigation by police will confirm whether it is suicide or death by any other reason.

The fisherman found the body of the woman floating on the river near Mangaluru fishing port. When they immediately informed Ullal-Uliya residents who were doing traditional fishing in small boats, two fishermen went to the spot where the body was floating and brought it to shore at Hoige Bazaar.

Pandeshwar police have visited the spot and investigation have begun.
