Mangaluru: A fire broke out in a shop at Thokottu here on Monday May 31.

The locals who observed smoke spiralling out of the automobile spare parts shop alerted about the incident. However, the shop has been damaged to a great extent.

Fire and Emergency Services Department personnel rushed to the spot on being informed and doused the fire averting further damage to the shop. The origin for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
