Fiona Swedal missing case takes tragic turn, brother confesses to killing her

Konaje: In a shocking twist to Fiona Swedal Cutinho missing case,  the 16-year-old girl is said to have been murdered by her brother, reportedly out of jealousy.
Swedal, a PU student went missing about 18 days ago from her home. The investigations have now revealed that she has been killed by her older brother Samson, who disposed of the body in a forest near their home in Konaje. Samson has reportedly confessed to the crime and said that he hit Swedal on the head repeatedly with a hammer.  He has revealed that he killed her because he felt that she was receiving all the attention and importance of their parents.
As per sources, Swedal was a bright student while Samson was not good at academic and was struggling after joining engineering course.
Swedal went missing on October 8 and her father Francis Cutinho had lodged a missing case the following day. The police too could not get a breakthrough in the case for several days, but soon they found that Swedal’s last mobile location was her own locality-Mudipu.  The police started questioning the family members and Samson could not hold on to the secret for long. The police launched a search operation to retrieve her body and her skeletal remains were found from the forest near the house.
