Tragedy struck in Kadaba police station limits as a pedestrian lost his life in a Thursday accident. The victim, identified as Parthasarathi Uvaraj, aged 29 and hailing from Namakkal district, Tamil Nadu, was struck by a car at Sharavoor in Alankar village. Uvaraj, who had come to repair a borewell vehicle, sustained severe injuries in the collision and was rushed to Puttur Government Hospital. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead by attending doctors. An investigation is underway, and a case has been registered in connection with the incident.
