Mangalore :A house owned by Kasturi in Mangaladevi was damaged in a fire that erupted on February 8 evening. The fire caused a loss of over Rs 2 lac.

The whole family was busy with Wedding preparation of  Kasturi’s daughter which was scheduled to be held on Sunday February 9.

Sources said that the house caught fire due to a short circuit. Luckily all the members of the family were safe and sound.

However, the fire was brought under control in time by the fire engines.

A case has been resgistered in the Pandeshwar police station.
