Bantwal: Seven members of a family were injured after thier vehicle fell into an abyss here on September 8.

The injured are Irshad(25), Fathimath Zohara(30), Umaira(27), Zaheeda(20),Baby Sahaba(6), B K Sheikabba(65) and Zaheed(9) from Kalladka.

The incident took place when the family members were returning from Madavoor dargah. They had gone to historical Madavoor dargah near Calicut in a Qualis car to offer prayers. While coming back driver lost control of the vehicle near Veerakamba turn at 3 am on Monday. It fell into a deep abyss. Luckily, even though there was a house nearby it missed it by a whimsical and fell in the compound. Due to which the vehicle has been completely damaged leaving 7 injured.

The injured have been admitted in a private hospital in Mangalore.
