Mangalore: Thieves attempted to rob four shops in Thokkottu near NH 66 in the outskirts of the city on September 17 late night.

It is learnt that thieves broke the shutter and entered inside the shop. But they left empty handed even though searched for cash and other valuables.

Ullal police have reached the spot and a complaint has been registered.

Further investigation is on.
