Puttur: The Excise officials on Saturday arrested a man and seized illegally stored liquor from his house in Nuliyalu in Nidpalli village.
Chandrashekar is the arrested.

The accused had illegally stored 8 litres of liquor at his home. Following upcoming ZP/TP elections, Puttur Deputy Superintendent of Excise Chandrappa directed officials to raid the house and seize the liquor. Excise inspector Shivaprasad, Excise officer Naveen Kumar, staff – Umesh, Praveen, Padmanabha and driver Balakrishna were involved in the raid.

The accused was produced in the court and has been sent to judicial custody.
