Kasargod: Two people have been arrested by the Kumble Excise department officials on charges of smuggling imported liquor.

The officials have seized 280 bottles of liquor.

The accused arrested are Kripakara(22) and Ganesh(40) of Minjaberike.

The duo was caught while carrying liquor on a motor bike. In the run-up to the elections in Kerala, the excise department has tightened their vigil, in an attempt to avoid any alcohol smuggling.
