Mangaluru: The excise officials arrested a man from the city for illegally transporting ganja and charas here on Tuesday, August 2.
Rajesh, a resident of Kulshekar is the arrested.

He was caught near Milagres church while he was carrying 200grams of ganja and 100 grams of charas worth Rs 6,000 in his two-wheeler.

As per the direction of excise joint-commissioner Rajendra Prasad, deputy commissioner of excise Manjunath L, Excise inspector Sunitha and staff carried out the operation.

A case has been registered in this regard and the accused has been produced in the court.
