State health minister K K Shailaja spoke to the Shruthi personally and assured her of all the monetary help required. The officials too have been directed to act on the issue at the earliest.

Shruthi who is currently walking with the help of a prosthetic leg, needs a new one as the expiry date of the existing one is over. The State government has come forward to bear the expenses as Shruthi’s family is quite poor.

Pursuing her Homeo Medical studies in Bengaluru, despite being an endosulfan victim, Shruthi aspires to be a doctor. She was affected by endosulfan from the time of her birth. However, she has become the pride of the region with her self-confidence and dedication.
