Elderly man living alone shifted to Konaje Abhaya-Ashrama

Moodabidri: An 80-year-old man living alone at Pernody in Nellikaru village was shifted to Abhaya-Ashrama rehabilitation centre with the help of Koraga community president Sanjeeva and the locals on Tuesday, August 2.
Jogi Koraga who is unmarried was living alone in Pernody from the last many years. Shanker Bhat, a localite, used to take care of him providing food and other necessary help. Recently, Jogi Koraga fell ill and hence was taken to rehabilitation centre in Konaje by the Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP) officials.

Moodabdiri Lions Club president Rukkayya Poojary, Nellikaru villagers Harish Acharya, Shashidhar Mantrady, Sundara Poojary, Shirthady gram panchayath former members Jakri Yusuf Moodukonaje, Parshwanatha Jian and Sudhatha Jain Shirthady were present.
