Puttur: A daily wage worker was found dead inside an old building which was in ruins in Yelmudy in Puttur. The incident came to light only on February 10.

The deceased has been identified as Vasudeva (60) from Mottethadka in Kemminje village.

It is learnt that Vasudeva was working as coolie (porter) in Shafi building from many years.

The incident came to light when locals who had been to the old building found a corpse there following which they informed the police.

The police identified the body and informed his relatives.

The body was then sent for post-mortem and handed over to the family.
