Bantwal: Eight months after a stabbing incident in Kalladka, the Bantwal Town police have arrested the accused on Saturday, September 2.

The accused has been identified as Farook alias Chenna Farook.

According to police, eight months ago Farook had stabbed Keshava one of the accused in Jaleel Korapadi’s murder case. After the incident, Farook was absconding from the police.

The police have arrested Farook from the residence of his acquaintance Thoufeek. The police have also detained Thoufeek for providing shelter to Farook.
