Mangaluru: CID Additional Director General of Police, Pratap Reddy visited the IG’s office regarding the investigation of DySP M K Ganapathy’s suicide case in Mangaluru on Saturday, July 9.

Reddy after a meeting with CID IGP Hemant Nimbalkar and city police commissioner Chandra Sekhar at the IGP office in Mangaluru, said that the CID will investigate the case from all angles.
On media’s query about when the enquiry report will be ready, Reddy said that nothing could be told now as the investigation was in progress.
M K Ganapathy was serving as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Departmental Enquiry) at the IG’s office 9Western Range), Mangaluru. He was posted here two and a half months ago. Sources at IG’s office said that Ganapathy was at the office a day before ending his life.
DySP M K Ganapathy committed suicide in a lodge in Kodagu on July 7, just hours after speaking to a local TV channel and accusing senior police officers and politicians of the State of harassing him.
