Mangaluru: Former union Minister B Janardhana poojary said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should drop the proposed “The Karnataka Private Medical Establishment Bill-2017 and instead should upgrade the government hospitals in the state. This should be applicable to small hospitals too, he suggested.

Poojary also warned, “If the CM doesn’t drop the proposed bill, I will not spare him till my death.” He questioned the CM, “Don’t you know what is the condition of the government hospitals in the state? Hence you should upgrade them.”

“Due to protest by the private hospital doctors patients suffered. Before executing this law, have you called a meeting of KPCC Executive Committee? Have you mentioned about the Bill in the manifesto? Have you taken permission from High Command? Do you how people faced problem due to the protest? Are you conscious? Whom you are helping?

In Bengaluru, Dr. Deviprasad Shetty created a town. When you fell ill, you were admitted there. Why? You know that the facilities provided there are good.To control private hospitals, government hospitals should be upgraded. Upgrade district hospital in Udupi. Instead you have given the hospital to a private entity.

Still you have time to drop the bill. Don’t kill the Congress party. It is not built by you. The party is built by sincere workers,” he bombarded.
