Mangaluru: A car driver was killed after he lost control of his vehicle and rammed into a lorry on Panambur National Highway in the wee hours of March 29.

The deceased is identified as Hanumanthayya, a resident of Gadag.

According to North Traffic Police, the car with 9 passengers including 4 children, was plying from Gadag towards Kerala. The accident is said to have occurred at around 1:30 AM.

The injured passengers have been admitted to a private hospital.
