Dr Veerendra Heggade announces new initiatives on 52nd coronation anniversary

Belthangady: “The state and the Central government shall provide flood relief to the flood victims of Karnataka and should boost their morale. God has warned us about nature and the importance of water through the floods,” said Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala ‘Dharmadhikari’ Dr D Veerendra Heggade.

Addressing the gathering at his 52nd coronation anniversary on Thursday, October 24, he said, “Around 50 cutter machines will be given to farmers for agricultural processes from Dharmasthala, out of which 20 machines have already been handed over to the farmers in Chitradurga.”

Speaking about the new initiatives by Dharmasthala, Dr Heggade said, “A new museum will be opened in Mysuru, an around 60-bed-capacity Ayurveda Hospital for Ayurveda Colleges in Udupi and Hassan will be built, a new hospital building for nature therapy in Bengaluru and from October 30, a world conference on Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project will be held, in which around 30 foreign delegates are expected to participate.”

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa gave their best wishes to Dr Heggade on the occasion.

A cheque of Rs 2,51,001 was handed over by the Dharmasthala staff for the flood victims of the state to MLA Harish Poonja.

State home minister Basavaraj Bommai, secretary of SDM Education Society D Harshendra Kumar, MLC Harish Kumar and others were present.
