Mangalore: The Lady of mercy church in panir will be celebrating 250 years of its formation and silver jubilee celebration of the church building, tomorrow.
As the part of the preparation of the celebration devotees from various churches in the surrounding, including few non catholic devotees offered a large number of offerings on sunday may 19th.
The procession began from deralakatte when the minister U T Khader gave a start to it.
The offerings were offered from surrounding nine parishes and from every family of panir church. “It was a long procession indeed”, people exclaimed looking at the length of the procession.
