Mangaluru: Another shocking incident of animal abuse was reported in the city. Kavoor police registered the case and arrested the accused.

The accused has been identified as Eraiah from Gulbarga. He is working at a doctor’s house at Konchady as a gardener. The dog had reportedly chewed his footwear and hence in anger, he tied the dog to his bike and dragged him from Konchady to Mary Hill for two kilometers.

He spared the dog when he saw its paws bleeding. It is said that the dog is alive.

Animal Care Trust’s volunteers and staff are trying to locate the dog. The dog was bleeding from the paws and needed immediate medical attention. They have requested the public to call them on 9845255777 or 900040497 if the dog is found.
