Mangaluru: The people will teach KPCC president D K Shivakumar a befitting lesson for attacking the state government for political gain, said Minister for Agriculture B C Patil here on Tuesday, May 5.

He was speaking to media persons after convening a review meeting at the DC’s office.

“The state government has already taken all appropriate measures to send the stranded migrant labourers to their native villages and there was insulting of the labourers. However, DKShi has been attacking the government under the pretext of giving justice to the migrant labourers. It is nothing but cheap politics,” he said.

Meanwhile, Patil informed that all appropriate measures have been taken to ensure that no agriculture activities will be stalled during the lockdown.

“I have been conducting meetings in all districts to procure seeds and fertilizers for the farmers. Agriculture activities will not be stopped at any cost,” he added.
