Mangaluru: On Sunday September 5,  Dakshina Kannada district reported 183 new Covid cases and one death.

According to the Dakshina Kannada district health bulletin, 16,04,650 samples have been tested so far and 14,94,592 turned out negative.

The district’s overall number of positive cases has climbed to 1,10,058, with 2,107 active cases.

On Sunday, a total of 221 patients were discharged from hospitals, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 1,07,357.

The district’s test positivity rate is currently at 1.70 percent.
