
Mangaluru: People in Mangaluru have been urged to be vigilant since a suspected North-Indian gang is operating under the Mangaluru Police Commissionarate jurisdiction.
According to the sources, the group is said to be robbing parked cars by breaking the windows of cars at Urwa Store, Bunder, and Balmatta in the City, took off with phones, laptops, cash totaling over Rs. 40,000 and check books.
The police stated that the North Indian gang was active in the area, but that the chances of them functioning were low due to the weekend curfew. The police teams also assured that they would continue looking for them starting Monday.
