DK Mahila Congress protests BJP’s inefficiency at centre

Mangaluru: President of Karnataka Mahila Congress Laxmi Hebbalkar on Monday, November 30 said that the communal face of the BJP should be exposed in the country and that immoral policing, which should have been subjected to stringent punishment, was being upheld by the BJP.

She was speaking during a demonstration held by Dakshina Kannada Mahila Congress against the work efficiency of the BJP government at the centre, near the DC office.

Hebbalkar said that the demonstration was to create awareness among the public and bring to fore the failure of the union government. She said that the BJP had promised that it would contain the prices of essential commodities. However, the cost of goods on kept soaring.

Mithun Rai slams BJP in district

Dakshina Kannada Congress Youth President Mithun Rai questioned why the BJP in the district, which created a ruckus during the murder of Prashanth Poojary is maintaining silence over the death of Harish Poojary. He said that the BJP had lost their face as their rightwing activists were involved in the murder and hailed the police for nabbing the culprits.

Forget black money, get PM back to India: Khader

Health Minister UT Khader said that the BJP led government came to power by fooling the public. He said that Modi had promised to get back the black money deposited in Swiss Banks but failed miserably. “Forget black money, now public wants PM Modi to come back to India,” he said.

Puttur MLA Shakuntala Shetty, MLC Ivan D’Souza, MUDA President Ibrahim Kodijal and President of DK Mahila Congress Mamatha Gatti were present among others.
