Addressing a virtual interaction with selected class X students in the district, Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner M.P. Mullai Muhilan offered words of encouragement on Wednesday, urging students to approach the upcoming SSLC examination with confidence and without anxiety. The SSLC exams are scheduled to take place between March 25 and April 6.

During the interaction, Mr. Muhilan emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and not getting distracted by external factors. He highlighted that this examination marks the students’ transition from school, making it an opportune time to showcase their capabilities and achieve good marks.

Responding to a student’s query about preparation strategies for the remaining 19 days, Mr. Muhilan advised students to compile essential equations, formulas, and historical details on a single sheet of paper for daily review. He also suggested going through concise chapter notes regularly. Stressing the importance of organized preparation, he assured students that the provided time is sufficient for effective exam readiness.

Providing further guidance, Mr. Muhilan recommended adhering to the examination scheme, following teachers’ instructions on scoring options, and utilizing the initial and final 10 minutes in the exam hall for reviewing the question paper and answers, respectively. He encouraged students to practice with model question papers and allocate time wisely for different question types.

The virtual interaction also included the participation of Deputy Director of Public Instruction Venkatesh Subraya Patagar and SSLC District Nodal Officer Venkatesh Nayak.
