Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Automobile & Tyre Dealers’ Association felicitated T. R. Shenoy, Technical Director of the Lamina Suspension Products Pvt. Ltd.,Mangaluru, with ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for his extraordinary contribution to the automobile spare parts trade.

The award was given during the 32nd Annual General Meeting of the Association which was held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, at Centenary Hall of Pompei Church, Lady Hill Circle, Mangaluru. As ill health prevented the recipient from personally attending the ceremony, the formal reading of the citation was done in the presence of his son and representative T. Avinash Shenoy, Director of Lamina Suspension Products Ltd.

Subsequently, the president of the association, Maroor Padmanabha Pai, Secretary K. Vilas Kumar and Editor K. G. Shenoy called on T. R. Shenoy on Monday, September 19 to personally deliver the honour.

As many as 19 meritorious students, who are the children of the association members and the employees, were also felicitated with certificates and cash awards during the Annual General Meeting of the Association.
