Mangalore: The district administration intends to achieve 100 per cent progress in Suvarna Arogya Chaitanya Scheme, an ambitious project of the Government of Karnataka, said Deputy Commissioner N Prakash.
Addressing a review meeting in this regard, the DC said three lakh children were covered under the scheme last year and added 20,000 children could not be covered. He directed officials of the Departments of Education and Health to ensure that all the left out children from Class I to X are included under the scheme this year.
Dr OR Srirangappa, District Health and Family Welfare Officer, said two doctors and nurses have been appointed on an additional basis in all taluks for the successful implementation of the scheme.
Dr Rukmini, District RCH Officer, Additional DC Dayananda and other officials were present.
