Mangalore : The bail application of the accuse in the Derlakatte  medical students kidnapping and forced sex case, has been rejected by the Third District and Sessions Court.

The accused namely Iqbal Harris, Ravoof alias Abdul Ravoof, Nisar alias Nisar Ahmed and Araf had earlier applied for bail. All of them are facing charges of kidnap, rape and blackmail.

The  District Sessions Judge TG Shivashankeregowda rejected their bail plea. Shivaprasad Alva was the public prosecutor.  The prime accused Safwan Hussain,  Sameer, Imran Altaf and Nawaz had however not applied for bail.
