Moodbidri: A depressed youth ended his life by hanging himself here at Moodbidri on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Ranjith (27), son of late Gopala Poojary from Hamsa Nagar in Vidyagiri.

His family members had gone to their relatives house in Todaru on Sunday afternoon.

At night at 10.30, when they returned home, Ranjith had committed suicide.

It is learnt that from the last one week he was at home without work. So depressed over unemployment, he ended his life when nobody was at home.
