Sullia : In an unexpected incident a deer that took a giant leap from a hillock crashed on to the glass of a moving van near Goonadka on Madikeri-Mangaluru State Highway on October 4.

The female deer which ventured alone to drink water in a nearby rivulet took a giant leap and ended up getting injured in the mishap. Passengers inside the van panicked at the sudden impact as glass broke into pieces.

Passengers took time to take a photograph of the spotted deer and let it go on its own. For the gregarious animal a slowly moving van turned out to be a predator.
The passengers’ concern toward the injured deer which started crawling was palpable at the site of the incident.
