DDS stages protest in support of ADGP Dr. P Ravindranath

Udupi: Dalit community staged protest in front of taluk office on Tuesday June 3, for trapping Dalit Police officer ADGP Dr.P Ravindranath.

Protesters urged the government to arrest those officials who played the dirty game in the name of cast discrimination.

Dalits community raised the Issue in full swing and demanded to arrest the police officers who are responsible of trapping Dr. P Ravindranath by registering a false case against ADGP.

The Dalit Sangharsh samithy urged that the officials named Raghavendra Auradkar and DCP Ravikanth Gowda should be suspended for humiliating a dalit officer under the SC/ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act 1989.

With the immediate effect, Rabban Park SI Ravi should be arrested and dismissed from his work said Uday Kumar Thaloor, DDS state org secretary and demanded to take back the resignation of Dr. P Ravindranath.

A memorandum of the same was submitted to Tahzhildar and CM.
