Dakshina Kannada registers three new cases; total reaches 28

Mangaluru: Three more persons from Dakshina Kannada district have been tested positive for Covid-19 today, May 6.

With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases has increased to 28.

A 38-year-old mother, her 11-year-old daughter from Boloor village and a 16-year-old girl from Kasba village in Bantwal taluk are three persons who were tested positive for Covid-19 today.

If mother and daughter, the residents of Boloor are the primary contacts of a woman who was tested positive for Covid-19 few days agohere, the 16-year-old girl from Bantwal taluk is the daughter of a woman, who recently succumbed for Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the state’s tally hit 692 with 19 new COVID-19 positive cases.
