Mangalore : CPI(M) Polit Bureau Member Brinda Karat said the CPI(M) will always work for the rights of the common man.
Participating in a convention of CPI(M) leaders and workers in Mangalore on May 1, Wednesday, she said the RSS was trying to polarize the society on communal lines and was working against the interests of not only minorities but the entire society.
She was also critical of the BJP and the Sangh Parivar for taking law into hands in the name of moral policing. She further charged the state BJP government of failing to keep up its promises.
She also charged the UPA government at the Centre of backing the corporate class. The workers of the unorganized sector have been completely neglected, she alleged.
