CPI(M) releases election manifesto for Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Releasing his party manifesto for Mangaluru city, Sunil Kumar Bajal, CPI(M) candidate from Mangaluru South Constituency on May 4 said that the same was drafted taking into consideration the city’s needs, challenges, and priorities.

Addressing the gathering, Sunil said, “It is very essential to restore peace and harmony in Mangaluru. Development is possible only when there is harmony in the society.”

There are plenty of opportunities for development of Mangaluru City. “Our manifesto has laid emphasis on the city’s overall development, including full-fledged city bus and service bus stand, adequate drinking water, probe into the Rs 360 Crore misappropriation in UGD project of ADB, government medical college, Wenlock hospital’s upgradation, basic facilities to street vendors, facilities for the homeless, development of old port and fish harbour, curbing narcotics and drug trade, controlling communal violence, and generation of employment,” he added.
