CPI (M) agitates over Kabeer’s case

Udupi: Demanding CBI enquiry in Kabeer’s case, the CPI (M), Udupi taluk Samiti staged a protest in front of taluk office on Tuesday, April 22. 

Speaking to the media , P Vishwanath Rai CPI (M), Udupi taluk Samiti secretary said, “Kabeer was shot dead by the ANF soldier which is absolutely a inhuman act and demanded justice to the family.”

They demanded that the ANF officials involved should be immediately arrested and punished. Killing innocent people cannot substitute any act of law. The government should order CBI inquiry to know the reality behind shoot out. Various occurancess during the indicates the act towards murder, he alleged.

He further added that BJP has been making an attempt to communalize the incident and said that the party acts ruthless. Moreover he also urged the state government to announce more than Rs. 5 Lakh for Kabeer’s family and ensure employment to atleast one member.

Asserting that state witnessed worst injustices and criminal deeds during BJP  and Congress tenure, the CPI (M) submitted a memorandum to the Tahsildar.
