CPI leader passes away

Bantwal: Advocate and CPI leader Satish Kumar Bantwal passed away following brief illness, in an private hostipal on Saturday.He was 36 and was resident of Nehrunagar near Panemangalore.

He is the son of AITUC district president P Sanjeeva.
He had suffered brain haemorrhage a few days back and was in the ICU of the hospital and breathed his last on Saturday.

Satish Kumar was a practising lawyer and  had his office at B C Road. An  active member of the CPI and had been part of various protest held for thr rights of workers and people in general.

Also was the legal advisor for Dakshina Kannada car and van drivers and owners association, AITUC workers union leader, cultural secretary of Bantwal lawyers association, member of JCI, Bantwal and actively involved in several other associations.

Once news of his demise spread several lawyers, workers associations, well-wishers and friends flocked to Satish’s residence to pay their condolences.

He is now survived by his parents, wife, child and two siblings.
