Mangaluru: A case against a resident of Maninalkur village here for attending a marriage even after testing positive for COVID-19 has been registered.

It is reported that the man tested positive for the virus on May 10 and yet participated in a wedding ceremony on Thursday May 13 in Karkala. The matter came to light when the Project Development Officer (PDO) of the gram panchayat visited the house of the infected person.

A complaint has been filed by the PDO at the Bantwal rural police station in this regard.
